Echoed Silence

The first in my series, “Growing Pains”.

It’s the echo of everything I never said, suspended in still water.

Oil on canvas

30x30cm

Echoed Silence captures the stillness that follows emotional upheaval, the kind of silence that isn’t empty but filled with everything left unsaid. The fragmented reflection of the face symbolizes identity distorted by suppression, as if pieces of the self were submerged beneath still water. Through muted tones and subtle contrasts, this painting speaks of resilience in quietness, of strength that doesn’t need to shout.
This piece opens my series Growing Pains, which explores the journey from being silenced to finding one’s voice again.
